About This Event

Nothing says summer in the South like watermelon. The Watermelon Festival at Wannamaker County Park features watermelon eating contests for all ages, seed-spitting competitions, watermelon carving demonstrations, and all-you-can-eat watermelon slices.

Cool off with watermelon-infused drinks from local vendors, live bluegrass and country music, and kids' water activities including slip-n-slides and sprinkler zones.

$8 admission includes watermelon. Additional food and drink available for purchase.
