Black History Month Celebration at Park Circle

North Charleston's Black History Month Celebration honors the contributions of African Americans to the Lowcountry and beyond. The day features live performances by the Charleston Gospel Choir and Gullah-Geechee storytellers, an African American art exhibition, historical presentations on the Charleston Naval Base's role in civil rights, and a soul food tasting event.

A special exhibit highlights the legacy of civil rights leaders from the Charleston area.
